AUDITIONS 26-27 Update

For clarity, transparency and ease of nerves.
We have had an overwhelming response to auditions this year. It will take several weeks to get through all the submissions.
To clear up rumors – there will be no one day of callbacks, if you hear of people coming in it’s because we are still looking to complete casting for Jagged Little Pill, or we want to see something very specific as we head into the next stage of casting.
We will work methodically through each show and that process takes weeks, not just one day. We do not use a casting agent so it takes time. However, they are being watched so please keep them active through April so they can be referred back to throughout the process.
Remember, some shows will not have callbacks/submissions for months – this was just the open call. We are so humbled and honored that you all want to work with us at Slow Burn Theatre and we want to give you the time your submission deserves. So we ask for grace as we enjoy what you all have offered up for us.
Employment Opportunities
Slow Burn Theatre Company is always accepting applications to keep on file for all technical and design position. Those positions could include:
- Lighting Designers
- Scenic Designers
- Sound Designers
- Sound Engineers, please note if you are proficient on a Midas Pro 3 IP Digital Console
- Costume Designers and Coordinators
- Stage Managers
- Assistant Stage Managers
- Production Interns and Assistants
- Carpenters
- Scenic Painters
Interested applicants should submit a resume and brief letter of interest detailing which positions they are interested in and available for. Each show will not necessarily require or have available all listed positions. Contact us for all inquiries.
Each production typically has 2 weeks of rehearsal and 5 days of tech prior to opening night.
