At Slow Burn Theatre Company, we believe theatre should be for everyone. That’s why we’re proud to offer a variety of programs designed to make our performances more inclusive, welcoming, and accessible to all members of our community.
Our sensory-inclusive performances are thoughtfully designed for individuals on the autism spectrum or with sensory sensitivities, offering a more relaxed environment while preserving the joy of live theatre. We also offer open captioned performances during the second Sunday matinee of every production, ensuring our shows remain accessible to the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community.
Beyond the stage, our ElderArts outreach program brings the magic of theatre to senior communities across South Florida through engaging, on-the-go workshops led by professional artists.
Slow Burn Theatre Company is proud to help to inspire the next generation of theatre lovers and artists by presenting select productions as part of the SEAS series. The Student Enrichment Through the Arts (SEAS) program is a nationally recognized arts-in-education initiative developed in partnership between the Broward Center for the Performing Arts and Broward County Public Schools. Since its inception in 1991, SEAS has provided over 3.6 million students from kindergarten through 12th grade with free access to professional performances during the school day.
Additionally, we offer discounted ticket programs throughout the season, because we believe price should never be a barrier to experiencing high-quality theatre.
