Into the Woods intertwines beloved fairy tales—including Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk, Little Red Riding Hood, and Rapunzel—into a richly layered story about wishes, consequences, and community.
At the center is a Baker and his Wife, who embark on a quest to break a witch’s curse that has left them childless. As their paths cross with familiar characters, each pursues a wish of their own, leading to unexpected consequences once those wishes are granted. With wit, heart, and a hauntingly beautiful score, Into the Woods explores what it truly means to live “happily ever after.”
